The armenian genocide acknowledgement for sale

The speaker of the Us House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, urged on the vote of the House Foreign Affairs Committee on the armenian genocide acknowledgement, that provoked more than 1,5 million deads between 1915 and 1923. Nobody liked this propose in so far it entails the break relations with Turkey, as it happened to France last year.
So, the american president, hoping to leave this problem to his successor, exhorted the House to vote against the democratics’ bill:
“We all deeply regret the tragic suffering of the Armenian people that began in 1915. This resolution is not the right response to those historic mass killings”.

I think it is a negligent choice, one of the most important request to let Turkey entry into the European Union, other than the resolution to the Cyprus case, is that of the armenian genocide acknowledgement in so far an orderly extermination campaign.
